American Eagle Outfitters Opens New Concept Store in New York City

American Eagle Outfitters will celebrate its 40th anniversary this fall by opening AE Studio, a concept store remodeled from AE’s Union Square location in New York City.

On Nov. 10, AE Studio will open its doors, inviting customers to immerse themselves in a new, unique and experiential shopping environment, featuring AE’s leading collections.

“As we celebrate the success of the last four decades, we look ahead to create new brand experiences to inspire today’s customer, and broaden our leadership in jeans,” said Chad Kessler, American Eagle Outfitters global brand president. “AE Studio is a perfect example of our evolution where we invite customers to enjoy a unique brand experience, feel at home and curate their distinct individual style.”

AE Studio will include a Jeans Gallery on the first floor, where AE Jeans will be prominently featured; a Maker’s Shop inside the Gallery, where customers can shop the AE Jeans collections and have them customized and also create one-of-a-kind pieces; an on-site social media team engaging with customers and creating digital content on the spot; a complimentary laundry wall, where people can do their laundry for free; a studio bar and seating area; digital concierge iPads in the dressing rooms; and a collaboration space, featuring capsule collections co-created with new brands, emerging designers and artists.

AE Studio will display AE’s collaboration with apparel brand Atelier & Repairs, a capsule collection that includes an assortment of men’s and women’s one-of-a-kind customized pieces repurposed from AE’s previous collections.

The Atelier & Repairs x American Eagle collection is priced $48 to $128 and will be available at 22 AE stores nationwide.
