Gigi and Bella Hadid, Priyanka Chopra and the rest of Hollywood’s effortlessly cool girls have turned to Mimi Cuttrell for style advice for years.
Now, shoppers can get their hands on clothes she designed with premium denim brand 3×1. Last week, Cuttrell and 3×1 unveiled a capsule collection of 12 pieces that the brand describes as “classic, for maximum versatility, yet trend forward.”
The collection offers a fresh take on the timeless jeans-and-a-T-shirt look that exists in nearly woman’s closet, with unique washes and precise tailoring, and several boundary-pushing silhouettes sprinkled in.
“I am constantly looking for the next ‘perfect’ pair of denim for my clients and I’ve repeatedly turned to 3×1 to deliver on this,” Cuttrell said. “When I finally had the opportunity to meet [3×1’s founder] Scott, I quickly realized why. He and his team are experts in all things denim and quality. We instantly clicked over our shared passion.”
The collection includes eight pairs of jeans, three knit tank tops and a reversible oversize denim jacket with faux Sherpa lining. Each jean is entirely different, with styles ranging from an exaggerated flare high rise, to a cropped straight-leg with cutout straps at the waist. The collection also includes a baggier light-wash jean with light destruction, as well as a relaxed high-rise jean named after Cuttrell’s father, Kirk.
Available on the 3×1 website, the line ranges from $125 for its GI tank to $695 for the B jacket.
