7 For All Mankind is calling on the artistic talents of designer Giambattista Valli for a Spring/Summer ’15 collection. The Italian designer’s fearless use of color and prints will feature prominently in the two-part collection.
The first collection, to be released in February, will offer high-waisted skinny jeans in seven audacious shades of reds and pink, as well as graphic animal prints created by the same printer Valli uses for his couture business. A minidress, shorts and flared top will also be available in similar fabrications.
The second collection will take a softer and more playful direction when it is released in May, including high-waisted flare pants and skinny jeans in white lace denim, shades of blue and washed-out pops of neon. There will also be a playsuit, a bomber jacket and a peplum top. And for a dainty touch, grosgrain ribbon are used as closures.
Recently, the couture designer has been dabbling with denim. He added denim into the fall debut of his second ready-to-wear line, Giamba, to create a 70s glam vibe. 7 For All Mankind, on the other hand, has a history linking up with high-end designers and has collaborated with Emilio Pucci and Zac Posen in the past.
The Giambattista Valli collection, which will retail for $350-$650, will be available worldwide at 7 For All Mankind locations and select premium retailer partners.
