After launching an Atlanta popup, an eyewear collection, new maternity styles and a Made in Italy line, AG Jeans is finishing the year off strong with an ultra-comfortable update to a form-fitting style.
The premium denim brand recently introduced a seamless denim product that eliminates jeans’ tuxedo stripe outseam and offers a more streamlined, body-contouring look. Offered in its Farrah Ankle fit, the style provides an aesthetic and comfort upgrade to a bestselling skinny jean.
According to John Rossell, AG’s head of creative and marketing, the concept was inspired by the demand for more styles that can be worn around the house. With comfort stretch dominating the pandemic denim scene, brands are facing calls to get more creative with their cozy offerings.
“Seamless for AG was a natural progression stemming from our devotion to design innovation and staying in-tune with the current trends,” he told Rivet. “Luckily, being a vertical manufacturer, we were able to react quickly and fast-track the project.”
Jeans are sustainably produced at AG’s recently launched water recycling facility, which saves more than 100,000 gallons of water per day. The line also utilizes sustainable initiatives such as eco-friendly laser technology, solar energy supply, ozone washing and regenerative heat dryers to underscore its commitment to the environment and the increasingly conscious consumer.
The seamless design provides a less restrictive fit with all of the body-shaping elements of an ultra-stretch skinny jean.
“AG’s Seamless is simply an authentic update to a timeless body that we all love,” Rossell said. “It’s not over the top, but it’s significant in that it’s more flattering, it fits better, it moves better, and you feel sexier wearing it.”
Seamless for AG retails for $208 and is now available in five colorways for women: peaked pink, Florence fog, white, ivory dust and super black.
