Alice & Olivia Debuts ’70s Inspired Denim Brand AO.LA

Nothing passes through the design lens of Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet without a whimsical touch—including denim.

The company announced the launched of AO.LA, a new line of women’s denim inspired by Los Angeles’ bohemian mindset and designed in New York City.

The collection features an assortment of classic and exaggerated jeans silhouettes that pay homage to iconic styles from the ’70s, including flares, bell-bottoms and button-fly high rise cuts. Jeans are punctuated with statement-making slits, tattoo-like imagery and vintage washes.

The denim styles are named Good, Great, Beautiful, Perfect, Amazing and Fabulous. Waistbands are embellished with affirmations like “You look good,” “You look great,” “You look beautiful” and “You look gorgeous.” The good vibe line is rounded-out with a range of T-shirts, patchwork kimonos and sweaters.

AO.LA is available now exclusively at Neiman Marcus and Alice + Olivia stores nationwide and online at aliceandolivia.com. Retail prices for jeans start at $225 for high rise skinny ankle jeans and go up to $395 for embroidered Mickey Mouse boyfriend jeans.

The brand will donate 10 percent of net proceeds from the Good jeans line to the GOOD+ Foundation, a nonprofit organization that partners with a national network of programs that support impoverish families.
