American Eagle Launches New #WeAllCan Fall Campaign

American Eagle revealed its star-studded Fall ’16 campaign Wednesday, focusing on empowering young Americans.

The millennial celebrity crusade features stars chosen for their representation of empowerment and open thinking, including the likes of Hailee Steinfeld, Cody Christian, Troye Sivan and Jasmine Sanders.

American Eagle encouraged each celebrity to share personal empowering statements, which included phrases like “I Can Love Anyone,” “I Can Be Heard,” and “I Can Do Everything.”

“#WeAllCan encourages Young America to follow their passion, express their individuality and pursue their unique path, providing a motivating invitation to share what they can do, be or create,” American Eagle Global Brand President, Chad Kessler, said in a statement. “We look forward to igniting a conversation and empowering our customers to answer ‘Can You?,’ ultimately showing how together, #WeAllCan.”

Debuting with #WeAllCAn, American Eagle will launch limited edition T-shirts and hand-painted denim jackets that highlight the empowering message of the campaign, which launches in October through print and digital outlets, as well as on social media through the hashtag #WeAllCan.

“American Eagle Outfitters is all about an inclusive positive spirit that empowers young people all over the world. This new campaign is just the first step in bringing this voice to life through an inspiring cast of individuals,” said Trey Laird, Laird + Partners founder and chief creative officer.

“After creating this first installment with this incredible group of collaborators, I am more inspired than ever in the power of this generation to move the world forward, and look great doing it!”
