Bonobos Appoints Sara Patterson First Chief People Officer

Bonobos Inc., owner of e-commerce brands Bonobos, AYR and Maide, appointed Sara Patterson chief people officer. Patterson joins the company from Tribune Media Company and is Bonobos’ first CPO responsible for people operations and the overall employee experience.

In her role, Patterson will oversee the human resources, recruiting and internal operations teams. She is responsible for managing compensation, benefits, HR policies, performance criteria, team relations, training, talent development and culture.

Patterson brings over 20 years of experience in human resources. Most recently she served as vice president of talent management at Tribune Media Company. She previously held positions at Conde Nast, Gilt Groupe and Coach.

In a statement, Bonobos CEO Andy Dunn, said, “As we continue to grow, the time was right to bring in a seasoned leader with Sara’s experience and strategic vision.” He added, “Our growth lies in being a company that is loved as much by its employees as it is its customers, and having someone focused daily on that is vital to our success. We’re thrilled to have her on our executive team and believe the company and culture will benefit greatly from having Sara on board.”
