Calvin Klein’s Fall ’17 Campaign Highlights New Denim Collection

Brooke Shields, marching band uniforms, workwear and western wear make for an eclectic Fall ’17 collection and campaign by Calvin Klein.

The brand released its new campaign, titled Calvin Klein 205W39NYC, on Monday, for the collection designed by Calvin Klein Chief Creative Officer and CFDA’s Womenswear and Menswear Designer of the Year Raf Simons.

The collection marks the debut of Calvin Klein Jeans Established 1978, a new line of designer denim under the the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC business. Pieces throughout the line are emblazoned with an exclusive patch that features a silhouette inspired by the iconic Richard Avedon image taken of actress Brooke Shields for Calvin Klein Jeans in 1981.

The campaign features 22 models posing in front of a series of billboards that show images from last season’s Calvin Klein campaign, Calvin Klein: American Classics. The billboards were put up in California deserts days prior to the photo shoot photographed by Willy Vanderperre.

The company has over 850 million impressions planned across 22 global markets with an integrated media mix. The brand will be featured extensively in fashion and lifestyle publications around the world during September’s fashion-focused issues.
