Underscoring the inextinguishable connection between denim and rock ‘n’ roll, premium jeans brand Cult of Individuality is partnering with Mitchell Binder, designer of the rock-inspired jewelry line King Baby Studio, for a Fall ’18 capsule denim collection.
The yet to be named collaboration takes classic denim staples and embellishes them with edgy hardware details like skulls and studs that King Baby Studio has made famous through its jewelry. The eight-piece collection for men includes a jean jacket with an oversized skull appliqué across the back, a leather biker jacket and distressed jeans with leather details.
Both companies will co-market and sell the line. King Baby will launch the line in both its physical stores and online. Cult of Individuality will sell the line through its wholesale partners. All social media and marketing efforts will be combined to introduce and cross-pollenate their respective communities.

“I believe in transforming the expected into something new and unique. Bringing originality and distinctive details to artisan products. This collaboration is a manifestation of those core values,” Binder said.
Both brands have deep connections to celebrities and the music scene. Artists from DJ Khaled and LL Cool J to Joe Jonas are Cult of Individuality fans. Snoop Dogg, Bruno Mars and S.L.A.S.H are among the celebrities seen sporting pieces from King Baby Studio.
“I have been a fan and consumer of King Baby Jewelry for over 10 years,” Ron Poisson, Cult of Individuality founder and designer said. “Their products are part of my everyday wardrobe and accessories. I was honored to develop this collection and infuse both brands’ DNA into a line.”
