Denham Marks 15 Years with Indigo Capsule Collection

Denham is celebrating its 15th anniversary by launching unique projects throughout the year.

The Dutch brand’s first is the Indigo Capsule, a collection of garments and accessories dyed with natural indigo. The concept behind the men’s collection was to retrace Denham’s own history and experience with using indigo to color denim.

“As natural dyes and organic materials emerge once again as a key trend, we look back to our archives for inspiration and retrace our own experience of indigo dying to create a contemporary story of comfort and modernity, cut together with a minimalist and responsible attitude,” Denham said in a release.

The collection includes the Yorge jean, a fit inspired by relaxed chinos. Cut from exclusive 3 by 1, virgin Japanese denim dyed with natural indigo, the jeans will develop unique wear patterns with use. The pocket lining and inner waistband are decorated with a graphic bandana print inspired by the indigo leaf flower. The boxy Winston jacket is made from the same fabric.

The collection also includes a regular-fit button-down shirt made from exclusive double indigo cotton fabric with bandana detailing on the outer and inner sleeves and two flap chest pockets, with a Denham leather tab.

The bandana motif is carried into the back-facing fabric of an indigo cotton hoodie and an indigo cotton jersey T-shirt.
