Denim Gets Its Day, In China

Join us March 24 at 11 am EST for the Trust Through Traceability webinar to learn the benefits and limitations of certifications and standards and how the latest innovations aim to verify product provenance and protect brands in today’s callout culture.

Denim continues to be a bigger part of fashion weeks worldwide. Lenzing, along with Cotton Incorporated, Prosperity Textile and more, gathered for Denim Cool Day, a fashion trade event organized by the Asia Denim Innovation Alliance (DIA) in Guangzhou, China to promote new ways denim can be applied to fashion collections.

Denim Cool Day took place on Aug. 23 during the Guangdong Fashion Week. The event, which drew designers, mills, fabric specialists and brands, included a denim fashion forum, an exhibition of denim capsule garments and a fashion show.

This article is one of a series on Rivet from Lenzing’s Carved in Blue denim blog. From conversations with the experts behind the mills that make some of the world’s most-wanted denim to the global brands bringing novel denim made with TENCEL® and Lenzing Modal® to the market, Carved in Blue shares the stories of those whose roots run deep with denim.
