Desigual CEO Manel Jadraque Steps Down

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

Desigual, the Barcelona-based brand, announced that CEO Manel Jadraque left his executive position. Desigual’s founder and president, Thomas Meyer, will take over as CEO and general director of the company. Jadraque will continue as a member of the board of administration.

Desigual said the decision is based on recommendations for accommodating commercial challenges facing the company. Jadraque has been with Desigual since 2004 in various roles, and was appointed CEO in March 2014 after his predecessor Manel Adell left the company in 2012.
