Dickies is rolling out new merchandise, including a debut collection by one of its pro team skateboarders, Ronnie Sandoval.
The eight-piece Sandoval skate collection drop includes an adjustable hat, a relaxed fit flannel shirt in a moisture-wicking fabric, a relaxed fit crew neck sweatshirt, a regular fit T-shirt, a regular fit graphic T-shirt, a customized twill Eisenhower jacket, a relaxed fit long sleeve polo and a loose straight fit double knee pant.
Sandoval said he designed it as an homage to his San Pedro, Calif. roots and the anchor graphic that appears on several of the pieces is a nod to the fact that the L.A. neighborhood is home to the port of Los Angeles. There are also shoutouts to the Channel Street Skatepark, where Sandoval grew up learning how to skate and which he has personally helped to rehabilitate for public use in recent years. The park reopened in August after being closed for seven years due to nearby highway repairs.
“Dickies’ continued support of the skateboarding community and of my career for the last nine years has been a blessing,” Sandoval said. “To be able to collaborate with one of my sponsors on a collection that honors my roots and hometown is truly amazing. Being able to share this with the world is a lifetime dream of mine and I’m so proud of it.”
The Dickies x Ronnie Sandoval Signature Collection is available for purchase across the U.S. and Europe and marks the first time a Dickies Skateboarding collection will be sold in the Asia Pacific region, with items available via e-commerce and in select retail locations. Prices range from $32.99-$72.99.

Dickies has also just launched Heritage Canvas, the second global seasonal collection for Fall 2022.
Consisting of classic men’s and women’s workwear pieces from the 100-year-old brand, the collection has vintage finishes and new color palette of warm hues such as grape and gingerbread brown. Key items include a denim bib, a Nimmons flannel shirt, double knee pants and washed chore coats with a vintage look and feel.
The Heritage Canvas collection retails from $27.99-$139.99 and is available globally.
