The big trends shaping fashion right now are the two U’s: utility and unisex.
Workwear brand Dickies teamed with Opening Ceremony and Timberland to create a capsule collection that puts both trends at the forefront.
The capsule features two collaborations: A five-piece Dickies 1922 x Opening Ceremony set and a Timberland x Dickies x Opening Ceremony Field Boot collection. The former consists of a short sleeve industrial button down available in black and white, double knee pants available in black and khaki, and loose-fitting 13-inch shorts in gray. Each design is covered in Dickies logos.
The streetwear-inspired Waterbuck Field Boot is 100 percent suede and available in men’s black or beige and women’s black or pink. It also features removable anti-fatigue footbeds and rubber lug outsoles.
This isn’t the first time Dickies teamed with Opening Ceremony. In April, the two brands collaborated on a Spring/Summer 2019 capsule collection that featured a pastel color palette. Before that, the brands collaborated on a Fall 2018 cotton corduroy shirt jacket and pant collection available in rose pink, burgundy and dusty blue.

Historically, the collaborations have proved a winning combination. Known for its androgynous designs and boundary-pushing elements, Opening Ceremony’s aesthetic complements the workwear brand’s utility-inspired collections that it has been crafting since 1922.
The Dickies 1922 x Opening Ceremony and Timberland x Dickies x Opening Ceremony Field Boots are now available in Opening Ceremony stores and on Opening Ceremony’s website. Prices range from $140-$225.
