Dior Homme is betting on denim for Spring ’18.
And this spring, the designer label is opening seven denim pop-up shops in hotbeds for luxury denim fashion.
For the Spring ’18 denim collection, Dior Homme Creative Director Kris Van Assche interpreted the Dior suit—a white shirt layered with a sleeveless jacket and silk tie—with traditional denim workwear influences.
The capsule collection consists of raw indigo, black, washed black and vintage blue straight leg jeans, jackets, vests and shirts. Workwear shirts are sleek with an oversized front pocket. Jean jackets have white shearling collars. Louder denim styles are bleached and have screen-printed statements and rips.
Details like the “Dior” signature appear in silver-embossed black leather, while embroidered roses as patches accent the shoulders of jackets.
Van Assche designed exclusive pieces for each of the the pop-up shops featuring the initials of the cities where the shops will be, Dior Mag reported. Pop-ups are open in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.
