Logo hoodies and boldly washed jeans make up Dsquared2’s brand-new collection called Honey.
The collection, which retails for $280-$985, was designed with focused attention on fabric, fit and wash, with pieces that flatter women’s body shapes.
With extended sizing offered, the collection encourages “women to embrace their bodies of all shapes and sizes,” the brand stated. Apparel is available in Italian sizes 36-54, or the equivalent of U.S. sizes 0-18. Jeans are available in Italian sizes 36-54, or U.S. sizes 24/25-39/40.
Most of Dsquared2’s regular denim collection is available up to Italian size 48, or a U.S. 33/34.
The denim range features a new mix of super-soft stretch fits that skim the body and more structured bull denim. Colors span white, pale blue, dark blue and black, while details like worn-in frays, bleach spots and fading add texture and dimension.
Dsquared2 carries its signature washes and branding details into Honey’s first drop, which includes a long-sleeve denim dress with an uneven hem, a cropped jean jacket and high-waisted hot pants. Cropped, high-waisted bell bottoms and curvy baggy fits round out the jean assortment. T-shirts and hoodies bearing the Honey logo complement the denim pieces. The stylized logo in loopy retro red lettering was created exclusively for the collection by Dsquared2 founders Dean and Dan Caten.
Distinguishing every Honey piece is a red bow sewn inside, while shorts and jeans also feature a “knicker thong detail” in pink or yellow trimmed in lace.
“The Honey woman completes her look with pretty heels and a baseball hat embroidered with the red Honey logo,” the brand stated.
A flat and high heel—both decorated with bows—are part of the collection as well as a square-toe strappy sandal. Details like soft leather straps are designed to not leave marks on the skin, while the fluted heel sandals feature a new sole technique where the heel sits for maximum comfort.
