Making a beautiful pair of jeans is akin to an art form, something Rob Garcia, founder and creative director for En Noir, knows intimately.

The denim brand shared a new video on its website last week, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at how a pair of En Noir jeans are crafted. As a designer, Garcia says its paramount for him to be hands-on with the process.

“For me it’s about thinking, touching, feeling, experimenting, and that’s the special part of [the process], that’s where you really feel things happening,” said Garcia in the video.

The video shows two of En Noir’s popular styles, the Bleach Wash and the Clash Wash, being made.

“The process isn’t always perfect, you’re always figuring out how to execute on an even higher level every time,” said Garcia. “I love every minute of it.”
