The Bangladesh Denim Expo, taking place Nov. 8-9 at the Bashundhara Convention Center in Dhaka, will celebrate the region’s deep roots in denim.
The expo, which debuted in 2014, continues to expand as it cements its role in shaping Bangladesh’s denim industry. The upcoming event will host 16 new exhibitors and two new washing technologies.
Under the theme “natural” denim, the show’s primary focus will be to provide attendees the opportunity to make business connections while learning new concepts of denim trade, innovation, strategy and manufacturing.
“One of the objectives of the expo is to promote the role of Bangladesh in the global denim scene,” said Farhana Begum, Bangladesh Denim Expo assistant manager.
Panel discussions about innovation, branding Bangladesh denim and investing in the country’s denim future are scheduled, as well as a technical workshop on quality assurance.
Attendees can also visit the show’s trend zone, which will focus on the direction and influences impacting fabric, wash and styling for adults and children in the Spring/Summer 2018 season.
