G-Star Raw has appointed Patrick Kraaijeveld and Rob Schilder as co-CEOs for the denim brand.
Former CEO Jos van Tilburg will end his 27-year term and remain as a chairman of the board for G-Star. Both Schilder and Kraaijeveld have worked with G-Star for years in high-level positions; Schilder previously as the COO and Kraaijeveld as the chief commercial and creative officer.
This change in leadership comes shortly after the appointment of Aitor Throup as creative director for G-Star, who also worked for the company before taking on his new role.
“I am confident that Patrick Kraaijeveld and Rob Schilder will lead this company as CEOs with the same passion as I have done and will continue to do as Chairman. Ongoing product development combined with creativity and innovation has been our guiding principle since day one and Rob and Patrick are dedicated to continue and expand on this mission,” said Tilburg.
