The Australian operations of G-Star Raw went into voluntary administration on Feb. 2. G-Star’s franchise partner, Denim Enterprises, has appointed Gess Rambaldi and Andrew Yeo of Pitcher Partners to handle the business.

Trading will continue as usual, and the new leadership will work to restructure the business and promote the brand. The first meeting of creditors will be held on Feb. 11 in Melbourne.

There are currently 21 G-Star Stores in Australia, as well as a branch of wholesale business through retailers like Glue Store and David Jones, which is not linked to Denim Enterprises. Founders Nick and Candice Hirons first introduced the denim brand to Australia through Denim Enterprises in 2002 and opened their first flagship store in Melbourne in 2003.
