Good American Debuts Maternity Denim

Khloe Kardashian has introduced a new member to her Good American family, and she’s calling it Good Mama.

The seven-months-pregnant reality TV star launched the Good Mama maternity denim collection last week, and in true Kardashian fashion, she took to Instagram to debut it.

The Made in L.A. company said Good Mama is designed to give expectant moms shape and comfort while enhancing their bodies in the early stages of motherhood.

In a video, Kardashian shared why she’s dabbling in maternity fashion.

“The biggest misconception about maternity wear is that you can’t be stylish and sexy while you’re pregnant, but we’re here to prove you wrong with our Good Mamas,” she said. “The maternity market is just not as cute and fun as you want it to be, especially when you are a fashion girl.”

The collection offers eight styles in three fits—the Honeymoon Mid-Rise, the Honeymoon Low-Rise and the Home Stretch—each suited for various phases of pregnancy.

The Honeymoon Mid-Rise is a skinny with soft black elastic inserts and 10-inch rise with waist band. The jeans are comparable to Good American’s Good Legs jeans. The Honeymoon Low-Rise, with a 7-inch rise and waist band, sits just below the baby bump.

Both jeans feature many of the same on-trend washes and details from the brand’s core collection, including staggered hem details and waxed coatings.

The Home Stretch, a skinny jean, has a full coverage belly band and a 7.5-inch rise with no waist band. The “ultra-soft belly cocoon” provides stretch and recovery to maintain shape. “It’s almost like you’re wearing a legging,” Kardashian said about the Home Stretch. “You [feel] super cozy and feel secure in your own body.”

Jeans are available in sizes 00-24. The collection retails for $149-$179.
