Guess’ international expansion continues with the opening of the company’s first store in Paraguay.

The 2,691-square-foot store, opened on Dec. 1, is located in the Centro Comerical Paseo La Glaeria, a major shopping location in Asuncion, and features the newest retail layout and concept from Guess.

“Latin America represents great growth potential for the Guess brand and our global portfolio.  Our partnership in Latin America with Starship spans over 22 years. I am very enthusiastic in the growth opportunities and the potential that untapped territories such as Paraguay represent for Guess,” said Guess CEO Victor Herrero in the release.

This location in Paraguay marks Guess’ 47th location in Central and South America. Guess celebrated the new location with an inauguration event on Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. in the new location, complete with DJ.
