Guess Revisits ‘90s Graphics in New Fall Collection

Nostalgia is the theme of a new Guess collection that’s weaving together modern elements with inspiration from the past.

For Fall 2020, the Los Angeles-based brand features retro Guess graphics from the ’90s in its Guess Originals collection. The line offers 24 pieces for men and 10 pieces for women with bold stripes, bright colorways and classic denim styling throughout.

Cropped T-shirts, tanks, polos and bodysuits, as well as a tracksuit available in mint or rose make up the women’s line. The men’s line offers logo hoodies, track jackets, and coach jackets that pair with nylon shorts. A standout look is a black denim jacket with retro branding and a denim cargo pant with a drawstring closure at the hem.

Logo T-shirts and long-sleeved shirts are also available for both men and women in green, salmon, tan, purple, black and white.

Guess is no stranger to vintage-inspired collections. Throughout its almost-40-year history, it has often looked to the past to create nostalgic activewear and anniversary collections.

Campaign imagery also mimics the past, with models Victoria Britt, Douda Ka and Mia Hewitt showcasing the nostalgic graphics against a Palm Springs-inspired bungalow backdrop. The entire campaign was shot using film and Polaroids to further drive home the sense of nostalgia.

Guess Originals will be available on Aug. 11 at Guess stores and online, with retail prices ranging from $39 for a T-shirt to $128 for track and denim jackets.
