The long-standing partnership between H&M and sporting and style icon David Beckham will expand beyond men’s bodywear this spring, with a Modern Essentials collection of menswear handpicked by Beckham.
The collection, called Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham, will focus on key pieces for the season, including a linen bomber jacket, a white chalk-washed denim jacket, a car coat, polo shirts and a poplin white shirt.
Beckham said, “Each piece is a new wardrobe classic that will update every man’s spring wardrobe with great style.”
The launch, slated worldwide for March 5 in stores and online, will be supported by a campaign shot by film director Marc Forster, known for directing Monster’s Ball, Finding Neverland and World War Z, as well as a new range of David Beckham Bodywear.
The spring Bodywear collection includes navy, white and grey Henleys, raglan-sleeve shirts and crewnecks with sporty stripe trim and pops of orange red.
Last month, Beckham and long-time business partner Simon Fuller, inked a deal with Global Brands to develop a line of menswear.
