Jeckerson, the Italian sportswear brand owned by Stirling Square Capital Partners, will expand into the United States. In the next two years, the company aim to begin sales at 110 U.S. specialty stores and reach revenues of $5 million.
To kick off their American expansion, Jeckerson attended Liberty in New York City (Jan. 19-21) and will be at the show’s Las Vegas event Feb. 16-18.
After economic difficulties in 2008, the company was acquired by UK fund Stirling Square Capital Partners. Now, with rebounding business, they expect to reach 40 million euros (about $45 million) in sales by the end of 2014, 10 percent more than the brand registered in 2013.
Jeckerson currently offers a men’s and women’s collection, with 80 percent of its revenues from menswear. In Fall ’15, Jeckerson will debut a children’s line produced with kids’ apparel specialist Altana, and this spring, they will launch an eyewear line with Lapo Elkann.
