Jeanologia to Present “One Glass, One Garment” at MAGIC

Jeanologia will present its new “One Glass, One Garment” finishing process for the first time in the U.S. at Sourcing at MAGIC in Las Vegas, Aug. 14-17.

The Spanish technology company will outline the benefits of the process in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, and will host a round table on Aug. 14 called, “The Innovators of Fashion: Stories from Creatives, Suppliers and Producers.” Rolando Sierra, Jeanologia area manager of Mexico and Central America, will discuss the global trends in producing apparel and footwear with the least environmental impact.

The One Glass, One Garment system combines Jeanologia’s laser, ozone G2 and eFlow technologies, the latter being the integral ingredient which allows the reduction of jean finishing to a single glass of water. In comparison, Jeanologia states that on average, one pair of jeans requires 70 liters of water to complete the finishing process.

The new sustainable process can create all the necessary looks denim brands aim to achieve, including dark and soft type rinses and authentic vintage, which is achieved through laser and eFlow.

Jeanologia CEO Enrique Silla described the One Glass, One Garment process a milestone for the textile industry. In a press release, he stated, “Thanks to the technology we have managed to reduce the expenditure of water more than 90 percent. We can create a beautiful and authentic product in a sustainable way without harming the environment. What matters is not only the product itself, but also how it is done; It is part of the DNA of the product.”

Additionally, Jeanologia will be available at the show for eco consulting. The firm will provide a team of experts at the disposal of the textile sector representing 40 different countries.
