Jennifer Lopez’s Guess Ads Combine Hollywood & Las Vegas Glamour

A luxury villa set the tone for Guess’ Spring ’18 advertising campaign with musician and actress Jennifer Lopez.

Art directed by Guess co-founder Paul Marciano and shot by fashion photographer Tatiana Gerusova, the campaign draws inspiration from Lopez’s life as a performer in Las Vegas and actress in Hollywood.

In the campaign, Lopez wears Guess’ Spring ’18 denim bra top and matching skinny jeans, slinky print dresses and pin-up style shorts.

The campaign celebrates the notion that women get more beautiful and talented as they gain life experience. As a well-established 48-year-old in the entertainment industry, the addition of Lopez breaks away from Guess’ tradition for featuring up-and-coming ‘it’ girls in their campaigns. Model, influencer and celebrity offspring Haley Baldwin starred in Guess’ 2017 campaigns.

“Jennifer Lopez is a Guess Girl’s dream,” Marciano said. “She is an accomplished artist, she is iconic and sensual.”

“When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager,” Lopez said in a statement.

The campaign will run through the duration of the Spring ’18 season.
