The recently launched “Denim & Diamonds” collection plays off the spirit of Valentine’s Day with women’s styles like the Icon, a high-waisted skinny jean, and the Vintage Short, both decorated with red hearts. The line also includes black skinny jeans embellished with tonal crystal hearts.
The show piece in the collection is the $498 Lara, a mid-rise cigarette jean covered in white crystal from top to bottom. Mimicking Gottlieb’s youthful and playful approach to fine jewelry, Joe’s Jeans says the jeans are a true collector’s piece and an homage to her work.
The collaboration may find a fan base with brides-to-be. Gottlieb’s direct-to-consumer line of jewelry is known for its Bridal Concierge service and diamond education content. With 327,000 followers, Gottlieb is also an influencer in the bridal space.
“I love pairing denim with diamonds,” Gottlieb said in a statement. “My personal style includes jeans almost daily and I am thrilled to partner with Joe’s on my first denim collaboration, adding my own SG touch to their flattering fits for 2020.”
Retail prices for the “Denim & Diamonds” start at $188 for the denim shorts. The collection is available now on the Joe’s Jeans website and at its boutique at 83 Mercer Street in New York City.
Joe’s Jeans has had success working with influencers in the past. In April 2019, the brand collaborated with influencer and We Wore What founder Danielle Bernstein on a collection that was so successful it partnered with her again in November. The brand also worked with New England Patriots’ wide receiver Julian Edelman to promote its men’s collection.
