Jordache’s New Collection at Walmart Offers Premium Looks for Under $30

Fans of throwback fashion can now nab Jordache at an affordable price. The heritage denim brand recently introduced Jordache Vintage, a line of denim and tees that retail for under $30. The women’s collection is available exclusively on Walmart.com.

The collection reflects the progression of Jordache, offering flare jean styles from the ’70s, jeans with contrast yoke details from the ’80s and wide-leg jeans from the ’90s and beyond. The line also includes a range of nostalgic graphic tees and oversized sweatshirts, and contemporary basics like skinny jeans and jumpsuits.

The coronavirus crisis led Jordache to seek new ways to work more closely with Walmart, an existing wholesale partner. The company pivoted to the big-box retailer, which stocks essentials like food and cleaning products, as that’s where it sees most consumers currently doing the majority of their shopping.

“We were impressed with how Walmart has optimized its already robust e-commerce platform and built a strong fashion destination where customers can discover quality, on-trend designs—no matter their style or budget,” said Jordache president Liz Berlinger.

“It was clear to us that the retail landscape was changing and that Walmart was best positioned to meet people where they are shopping,” she added. “We believe that, together, we can deliver stylish fashion at an incredible value.”

Like many other denim brands during this time, Jordache is doubling down on its digital efforts, engaging with social media influencers and affiliate and blogger platforms to promote its new collection.

However, shoppers familiar with Jordache’s main line—which retails at a premium price point—may recognize some of the styles in the new collection with Walmart. The Jordache Vintage collection sells jeans with a rainbow wash and printed logos—marquee styles that sold for $275 in the main Jordache line—for just $28.98.
