Kingpins announced two new concepts for its upcoming Amsterdam show: an app and a new trend forecast concept for Spring/Summer 2018.
The app allows attendees to receive transportation information, seminar schedules, floor plans and live updates about events in the palm of the hand. The free app is available for iOS and Android phones.
The show will also debut its first-ever in-house denim trend forecast along with a corresponding trend installation. Amy Leverton, of Denim Dudes produced the segment along with Kingpins to show Spring/Summer ’18 trends.
“Our opinion has always been that denim trends begin and end with fabric. Mills are the engine of innovation and inspiration in our industry,” said Andrew Olah, Kingpins founder. “For many seasons we have fielded requests from attendees for more trend-related information from a Kingpins perspective. By working with Amy and creating what is essentially a denim trend forecast with a corresponding inspirational installation that truly allows the mills’ innovation and creativity to shine through, we are connecting all the dots.”
The installation will display garments produced by Kingpins Amsterdam denim mills with help from the Kingpins trend forecast.
