Kith’s Spring ’18 collection is evidence of what happens when streetwear heads to the Hamptons.
The New York City-based label evokes laid back beach vibes this spring with washed shades of indigo and new terry fabrications. The 36-piece men’s collection will drop in two deliveries.
The first delivery, which launched Friday, introduces new silhouettes in a premium terry Kith said was “custom-milled to be airy yet substantial.” The terry fabric underwent various indigo-dyeing processes, resulting in multiple washes ranging from light to dark.
Indigo terry pieces include the full-zip Williams hoodie, the Bleecker sweat pant and the brand-new raw-edge Redfield crew and asymmetrical Roman hoodie. The first drop also includes the launch of Kith’s JFK Tee Program, a line of classic T-shirts with a heavyweight slub-cotton fabric. The logo tees are offered in short and long sleeve options with distressing around the neck and hem.
Kith’s second delivery includes the latest installment of the brand’s Denim Program. The loose-fit Columbus pant has been reworked with denim and is offered in three washes, as well as he Laight denim jacket. The denim collection is made with 13.5 oz. Moroccan denim and features hand-distressed details and light paint splatter for a lived-in aesthetic. The second delivery will launch on May 18.
