The connection between the physical and digital worlds underpins Ksubi’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection, titled SuperNet.
The men’s and women’s collection combines nostalgia and futurism through garments with warped digital versions of traditional checks, NFT-style artwork and pixilated “cyberflora.”
“A new era of disruption has arrived. The physical and the digital combine to create a new experience. Creativity and technology are at the heart of a movement, marking the triumph of a new version of the creative outsider,” Ksubi said in a press release.
Denim anchors the women’s assortment with fresh washes across the brand’s popular relaxed straight fits, the Playback and the Brooklyn. The rigid Low Rider jean is updated with pastel daisy prints, while the wide-leg Swinger jean features two-tone paneling.
Contrasting textures of leather to lurex and drill cotton cargo pants inject a sense of tough femininity. Colors like orchid and cobalt bring a sense of vibrancy to the collection. Versatile outerwear pieces include the Elemental, a bomber jacket made with textured nylon, and the Incognito trench, a style that has zip detailing to create a biker shape.
Hero pieces in the men’s collection include a cargo pant and resort shirt with repeated black-and-white check patterns and jeans, a bomber jacket and joggers decorated with bold, digital-inspired florals. Custom dye treatments bring a layered color effect to key denim styles and cargo pants.
The collection is available now on Ksubi’s website and in Ksubi stores in Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago and London and selected retailers.
