The right pair of jeans can be a confidence builder, and that’s why lifestyle brand Lands’ End is introducing a new women’s denim collection for fall with a renewed focus on flattering fits and comfort.
“Comfort and confidence are two of the most important factors for women when it comes to shopping for jeans, which is why we focused on fit and fabric technology in our latest denim line,” Lands’ End women’s denim designer Molly Schrott, said. “Our designers spent months reviewing our customers’ feedback, conducting fit tests and studying every detail in our previous jeans, as well as our new styles.”
Schrott took to Facebook Live on Friday to share with consumers how the brand focused on sourcing the right fabrics and perfecting proportions.
For the new collection, Lands’ End fine-tuned its popular Slim Ankle jean and expanded its high-waisted jeans to include a modern Stovepipe Ankle jean with a hint of stretch. The brand also launched the Curvy Fit, a stretch jean with a contoured waistband that hugs the curves of women’s shapes.
New fabrications for fall include jeans with cooling and warming properties. The indigo jeans keep women comfortable by trapping heat in the winter months and remaining breathable during the summer months. Jean styles span mid-rise straight and boot cut, to high-rise slim ankle fits.
The centerpiece of the Lands’ End’s collection is its new stretch twill Forever Black jean. With no cotton in the blend, the company says the jeans will keep their jet-black color wash for up to 30 home washes. The color-fast fabric is available as a high-rise or mid-rise straight leg jean and as a pull-on skinny jean.
The collection is available on landsend.com and retails for under $100.
