Levi Strauss & Co. announced Wednesday it had appointed David Love as executive vice president and president of Levi Strauss Asia, Middle East and Africa.
The company also announced that current Product Development and Sourcing Senior VP Liz O’Neill will now serve as chief supply chain officer. Love remains a member of Levi’s worldwide leadership team, while O’Neill joins the worldwide leadership team. Both Love and O’Neill will report directly to Chip Bergh, Levi’s & Co. president and CEO.
“David is a valued and trusted leader at LS&Co. who brings a deep understanding of how our business operates to his new role as AMA president,” said Bergh in a statement. “David has made significant contributions to the success of our business in his roles as the leader of our global supply chain and as our chief transformation officer. Liz has been a valuable thought partner and leader in driving substantial cost savings and increasing the quality of our strategic partnerships.”
Love’s tenure with Levi’s began in 1982 as a manager of technical services, working in the company’s UK manufacturing facility. Working his way up through the company, Love became a key player in production development, product services and sourcing, along with working closely with design and brand merchandising while helping sustainability efforts.
