Levi’s and Ambush Deliver a Moto-Inspired Capsule Collection

Levi’s teamed up with Ambush for a second collaboration imbued with the Japanese brand’s punk-meets-luxury approach to streetwear

Whereas their first collaborative effort from last year examined Levi’s heritage through Ambush’s subversive lens, the new collection features a gender-neutral denim jacket and matching jeans that draws influence from motorcycle and biker culture.

The collection echoes the moto-inspired designs seen in recent collections by Diesel, Balenciaga and Isabel Marant.

The jacket features a stand-up collar with a snap-button latch, two chest pockets, two side pockets and a zip-front closure with a chunky Ambush zipper pull. The front of the jacket includes shadow patches on the chest and sleeves—a look that Levi’s said is achieved by adding patches when the denim is raw and removing them after the washing process.

The back of the jacket features a waist panel with accordion detailing, along with a special edition co-branded back patch in black bearing Levi’s two horse logo and Ambush’s logo.

The slim straight fit jean is adorned by front knee panel detailing and an exposed zipper fly. The back of the jean includes shadow pocket detailing, achieved through the same washing process as the patches on the jacket and the same dual-logo design patch.

Both pieces come in a mid-indigo wash.

The Levi’s x Ambush collection retails for $350-$450. It is available now in the U.S. through the Levi’s app and globally on various online, in-store and app channels. It is also available on Ambush’s website and stores.
