Levi’s Debuts Capsule Partnership with Macy’s

Levi’s and Macy’s are teaming up to create more excitement around the in-store shopping experience.

With a special Wild West and Rock ‘n’ Roll inspire denim line created just for Macy’s and dubbed Levi’s Limited, shoppers will be able to visit the store and customize their denim buys.

“Levi’s has had a longstanding relationship with Macy’s, so we wanted to make this collection really special, fun and something quintessentially Levi’s,” said Jonathan Cheung, head of design at Levi’s.

The collection is offered in men’s, women’s and kids’ and is full of details, from embroidery to studs and pin and patch sets, that will serve as customization options for the consumer.

The women’s line offers California-inspired floral embroidery and patched denim with the Ex-Boyfriend Trucker American Spirit jacket and 721 High Rise Skinny Desert Bloom, while the 501 Shorts and the Limited-Edition Pinnacle Trucker Stud Muffin jacket feature stud detailing around the pockets and throughout the jacket.

The men’s standout collection features patchwork on 501 and 511 jean styles, as well as an Eagle Embroidered Western Shirt as a complement.

The children’s collection takes the best aspects from the adult counterparts with studs and kid-friendly embroidery.

Levi’s will offer a tailor shop pop-up at the Macy’s Herald Square location in New York City, where consumers will be able to customize their purchases with patches, chain-stitching and more.

“This limited-edition capsule collection truly epitomizes what two great brands can create together,” said Durand Guion, Macy’s group VP and fashion director. “Macy’s and Levi’s continue to evolve creatively and we are thrilled to bring this exciting collaboration to life in stores and on”

The collection is available now, starting at $28 for a the patch beanie to $500 for the studded trucker jacket. Customers can also purchase a Patch & Pin set separately for $30.
