Levi’s New Guidebook Examines Healthy Factory Environments

A healthy worker is a happy and productive worker.

That’s the message Levi’s sends in its new guidebook, Managing Health in the Workplace.

The book, written in partnership with Meridian Group International, Inc. under the US-AID-funded Evidence Project, is part of Levi’s Worker Well-being program. The resource is available to the entire apparel industry to read, follow and adopt.

The guidebook offers factory managers advice and tips on creating a better workplace for employees. Its subject matter focuses on women’s healthcare, which it claims is often overlooked in factory environments. The book also includes eight “how-to” modules that guide managers through steps for improving health planning, budgeting and data collection.

The book is available to download here.
