Levi’s Made & Crafted Collaborates with Off White

When it’s deliver-or-die, supply chains become the lifeblood of a company. To that end, the fashion industry has embraced technology to navigate today’s hyper-complicated supply chain, with myriad solutions shaping the first, middle and last mile. Call it Sourcing 2.0.

The future of streetwear meets denim’s heritage rich past in a new collaboration between Levi’s and Off White.

Levi’s premium brand Levi’s Made & Crafted and fashion house Off White have collaborated on a new Fall ’16 capsule collection. Virgil Abloh of Off White and Levi’s head of design, Jonathan Cheung, worked together for the 11-piece collection with prices starting at $650.

The collection features some of Levi’s icon denim in a contemporary re-imagining, with quintessential Off White detailing like color blocking, exposed seams and oversized zippers.

“The decision to work together with Virgil on Levi’s Made & Crafted came pretty naturally,” said Cheung. “This collection was a natural fit for Virgil’s intellectual, transcendent streetwear philosophy. We see this as Levi’s Made & Crafted standing on the shoulders of Levi’s heritage and looking into the future.”

The collection was designed in Levi’s Eureka innovation lab and includes jeans inspired by the original 501s, type III denim jackets with color blocked sleeves and billowing denim overcoats. “This is more of a co-design than a collaboration,” said Abloh, speaking on the strong teamwork with Levi’s in the collection.

The Levi’s Made & Crafted x Off White collection is available on Off White’s website and at select retailers globally.
