The U.S. heritage brands Levi’s and New Balance are back with a second collaboration that spans multiple apparel categories, including men’s and women’s sneakers, Trucker jackets and a T-shirt.
In March, the brands dropped the Levi’s x New Balance 1300 sneaker featuring limited-edition White Oak XX52 denim from Levi’s deadstock inventory from the now-shuttered White Oak Mills in Greensboro, N.C. The new collaboration plays off the brands’ mutual appreciation for one another by combining their signature design details—literally.
A unisex graphic T-shirt depicts a collage of classic advertisements from both brands’ pasts, while the reversible Trucker jacket is made with patchwork denim on the Levi’s side and padded quilting on the New Balance side. In a nod to the reflective detail on its iconic running sneakers, the New Balance side boasts the brand’s logo on the back sewn with 3M reflective thread.
The men’s jacket is available in indigo or gray, while the women’s style is available in a sky blue/gray/white color way that is echoed throughout the collection.
And sure to be one of the most coveted items in the collection is the Levi’s x New Balance 327, a style modeled after the original New Balance model. The men’s and women’s denim sneaker features a bold ’70s-style waffle sole and upper made with contrasting denim, suede and leather. The shoe is distinguished by an oversized New Balance “N” and Levi’s red tab.
The men’s sneaker is available in navy/indigo/white or navy/white/grey colorways. The women’s sneaker is grey/sky blue/white.
Available in U.S. Levi’s and New Balance stores on Nov. 10 and on the Levi’s App and select wholesale partners, the collection’s retail price range is $50-$148. Following the U.S. release date, the collection will launch on Dec. 3 across Europe and in Brazil, and on Dec. 15 in Mexico.
