Levi’s is dedicating more space at its brand new store in Bologna, Italy to the 501 Customized and Tapered (CT) style. The increasingly popular jean for men and women, which offers a slightly wider fit around the waist and hips and becomes more fit from the knee to ankle, is the focal point at the new 1,900-square-foot space.
The store also showcases legendary 501 denim shirts and trucker jackets, and come January, will offer Levi’s first Spring/Summer collection created by its new head of design, Jonathan Cheung. The line is inspired by Cheung’s hometown San Francisco, Calif.
Santiago Cuchy, vice president of Levi Strauss & Co. South Europe, said Bologna’s trendy and young vibe is the perfect city to host the brand’s new store. He added, “This store will present most iconic and cool Levi’s items to citizens, tourists, jeans fans and style-seekers.”
