Composed of a 10-piece lineup of Levi’s jeans, Trucker jackets, hoodies, and tees, the collection seamlessly blends high-fashion and heritage, runway style and workwear utility.
Cooper’s connection to the San Francisco denim brand began as a child in Georgia where he would buy Levi’s jeans from the rural lifestyle retailer Tractor Supply. His admiration for the brand continued as a teenager in London, where he would check out specialty collections sold at places like Dover Street Market.
The collaboration honors both stories by combining authentic workwear materials and construction with elevated designs and sustainability. The collection includes a Levi’s Type II Trucker and straight fit jeans in triple-stitched organic cotton duck canvas—available in green or ecru—as well as a patchwork chore coat and straight fit jean in indigo denim made from cottonized hemp.
A two-pocket hoodie, available in green or ecru organic cotton, feature graphics based on heritage Levi’s back patches. The line also includes two organic cotton graphic pocket tees, with graphics based on Levi’s workwear lineage.
“For me, this was an opportunity to essentially make proper heritage workwear with a company that pioneered it,” Cooper said about the collaboration.
The collection debuted as part of Reese Cooper’s runway show called “Seed & Soil.” The Levi’s pieces were supported by ruched dresses, trench coats and cargo trousers.
While Levi’s is familiar with being part of fashion week, the partnership with Reese Cooper is its first-ever “see now, buy now” collection. “This collection takes everything we love about the past and puts it into one beautiful modern package,” said Karyn Hillman, Levi’s chief product officer.
The Levi’s x Reese Cooper collection retails for $68-$288 is available on Levi’s website and app and on Reese Cooper’s website. Styles are also available at a popup shop in Paris until June 26.
