Levi’s Delivers Nostalgic Collection with ‘The Simpsons’

Two omnipresent names in American pop culture are joining forces for a collection that taps into the millennial thirst for nostalgia. On Thursday, Levi’s released a collection with “The Simpsons,” the 1990s animated series currently airing its 33rd season.

The streetwear-inspired line features characters Bart, Lisa, Milhouse and more across items like tees, hoodies and packable puffer coats. A Trucker jacket boasts a graphic of Bart drinking a Squishee alongside Levi’s batwing logo. There is also a mix of school-inspired styles that nod to their school, Springfield Elementary, including a ringer tee, a letterman sweatshirt and a school uniform-inspired set. The wide-wale corduroy jacket and loose-fitting trousers are in The Simpsons’ signature sunshine yellow.

Other pieces like reversible puffer vests and jackets feature prints of cartoon clouds from the show’s opening credits. Accessories like bucket hats, beanies and a sling bag round out the collection.

The Levi’s x The Simpsons collection, available in Levi’s store, online and on the Levi’s app, retails for $30-$148.

While Levi’s has a history weaving animated characters into their collections—the brand has launched several collections with Peanuts and Mickey Mouse—this is its first with The Simpsons.

The Simpsons, however, made its Paris Fashion Week debut last October in collaboration with Balenciaga with a 10-minute episode starring an animated Demna and Anna Wintour and a series of co-branded T-shirts. Nike has also teamed with Bart Simpson for a Nike SB Dunk Low sneaker expected to drop this year.
