Lord & Taylor announced Thursday they will now be carrying Jack & Jones denim as one of a number of new menswear brands at the company’s department stores.
Owned by Danish clothing company Bestseller, Jack & Jones first gained a foothold in the European market in the early 90s with locations in Scandinavia.
Today, the brand sells throughout Europe with a focus on denim for a younger, fashion-forward consumer. Lord & Taylor will be the first retailer to stock Jack & Jones in the United States. Hoping to capitalize, Lord & Taylor is pushing men’s black skinny jeans as one of its top trends for the season.
“The macro trend this season is creating the ‘It List’—one that incorporates every man’s essentials,” said Nelson Mui, Lord & Taylor menswear fashion director.
Lord & Taylor also announced the debuts of British tailored brand Hardy Amies, sportswear brand Markus Lupfer, and Vince footwear, all of which are available now.
