Madwell released a limited-edition collaboration with vintage studio and online shop, Where I Was From, Tuesday.

Claire Lampert and Stacy Daily started Where I Was From (WWIF), known for vintage construction interpreted in a modern way, making the brand a solid collaborator with Madewell’s clean and classic pieces.

The twelve-piece line features modern closet essentials with a vintage vibe, and includes garment dyed jeans in a faded, sun-washed colorway, along with graphic tees and white denim to round out the stylish woman’s warmer month wardrobe.

“We have long admired WWIF’s way of styling and updating vintage pieces,” said Joyce Lee, Madewell head designer. “It felt natural for us to work together on a capsule inspired by some of their favorite vintage finds.”

Drawing inspiration from bi-annual vintage sourcing trips, the Madewell collaboration holds a distinct New Mexico feel, “like the respite of Los Poblanos, a lavender farm set in the New Mexican desert, this collection is fun, unexpected and optimistic,” said Lampert.

The line retails for $18.50-$158 in select Madewell stores and online.
