Premium textile provider, Polartec, has announced a new partnership with footwear and apparel brand Ariat International to produce a new line of Ariat Work FR clothing designed specifically for women.
The line will feature a range of tops and jeans made using Polartec FR technology, which provides consumers with the safety features hazardous work environments demand while also showcasing a more stylish design than is typically seen in FR clothing.
“In an industry with dozens of boxy, stiff and uncomfortable jackets, we knew we needed to differentiate our women’s FR workwear by translating our signature style within the highly technical requirements of the field,” said Susan Glynn, vice president of apparel design and development at Ariat.
Using Polartec’s patent pending technology, jeans and tops utilize a unique yarn blend and fabric construction that ensure the clothes are permanently flame resistant, breathable and require easy care.
