The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) is a not-for-profit organization stewarding the global standards for Better Cotton, bringing together cotton’s supply chain, from the farmers to the retailers. The initiative aims to make global cotton production better for producers, the environment and the sector’s future, by developing Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity.
“Prosperity Textile is committed to expanding its use of Better Cotton”, said Andrew Olah, chief executive of Olah Inc., Prosperity’s U.S. sales office. “More and more of our customers are seeking fabrics made with sustainable cotton and Better Cotton is one excellent option,” he explained.
Levi Strauss & Co., G-Star Raw, Marks & Spencer, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, H&M, Ikea, VF, Inditex, Nike, as well as Olah Inc. are BCI members.
