Sam Edelman Grows Lifestyle Empire with New Denim Collection

Footwear guru Sam Edelman wants a piece of the women’s denim market.

The ever-growing lifestyle brand partnered with Los Angeles-based Global Brands Group (GBG) Denim West to design and produce a new denim product line, beginning with a holiday collection available now.

The debut line offers mid-rise, high-rise and boyfriend jeans embellished with coatings and crystal trims. Jeans retails for $98 to $148 and are sold on Nordstrom.com, Samedelman.com and in all 13 Sam Edelman stores.

For Spring ’18, Sam Edelman will expand the collection with denim skirts and jean shorts.

“There are two things that are critical to a successful denim collection—the perfect fit and being on trend. Those are both things the Sam Edelman brand is known for and will be the foundation for the denim launch as well,” said Suzy Biszantz, GBG Denim West president and CEO.

The new denim product line will join 10 other categories in the Sam Edelman Lifestyle collection, which spans footwear and hosiery to swimwear and sunglasses.

“We are excited about the newest addition to our ever-growing brand. Our product is designed for the modern woman and her desire to feel comfortable and confident, wherever she goes,” said the company’s president, Sam Edelman.
