Sanctuary Features Influential Female Leaders in Fall ’19 Campaign

Los Angeles-based brand Sanctuary Clothing debuted its Fall ’19 collection with a campaign that embodies its inspirational and customer-first messaging.

For the new “What Matters” campaign, the brand tapped influential women who have made significant improvements within their industries and communities to curate personal edits for the season.

The campaign kicked off with digital influencer and lifestyle blogger Sazan Hendrix and Emmy-winning television personality Zuri Hall. Hendrix’s edit, which features handpicked styles from Sanctuary’s fall collection, is now available, and Hall’s will follow.

Shoppers can find the Fall ’19 collection on the Sanctuary website and in-stores at Anthropologie, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, Macy’s, Nordstrom and Revolve, and can follow the campaign hashtags #WhatMatters, #YouMatter and #ItAllMatters to get involved. The Edit collections with Hendrix and Hall are exclusively available on the Sanctuary website.

“I love what Sazan and Zuri stand for,” said Debra Polanco, Sanctuary’s co-founder and chief creative officer, in a statement. “They are strong women in their industries, supporting women to thrive and so much more. It was an honor to work with them and all of the women in our campaign to share what matters most to them and bring our campaign message to life.”

In addition to Hendrix and Hall, the campaign will also feature activists, female business leaders, working moms and other inspirational women including actress and animal activist Sulem Calderon, model and self love advocate Khrystyana, activists and co-founders of artist community atxGALS Monica Ceniceros and Whitney Turetzky, program directors of Food on Foot Kelsey Deppen and Precious Boone and more.

Sanctuary’s Fall ’19 collection includes sweaters and leggings, cropped and long cardigans, faux furs and bold prints such as checks, plaids and zebra print. The brand’s denim will take new shape in the form of a paper bag pant, plus demi and flare boot cut jeans. The collection features on-trend fabric treatments such as destruction and coated denim, and washes range from Bluestone to Midnight.

Sanctuary’s core denim styles—Social Standard Skinny, Mid Rise and High Rise—are also included in the collection.
