True Religion and Supreme have reteamed for a Fall 2022 sequel. For the brands’ second collaborative collection, they turned to the active and outdoor categories for inspiration.
The lineup includes 22 men’s items spanning heavy fleece with a potassium spray wash technique to ’90s-inspired fits designed with denim, twill and Gore-Tex, a breathable, waterproof fabric membrane that is used for all-weather performance garments. It is also windproof, lightweight and very durable.
The Gore-Tex assortment includes hoodies, bomber jackets, jeans and accessories in a palette that spans from denim blue to red, black and white.
Prices range from $98 for a hat to $478 for a Gore-Tex shell jacket.
The previous True Religion x Supreme collaboration launched last fall and sold out in a day. Pieces from it are currently for sale on eBay with inflated, nearly doubled prices of $400-$820.
Michael Buckley, CEO of True Religion said, “We’re thrilled to partner once again with Supreme to offer True Religion-inspired Supreme apparel. So many of True Religion’s innovations have taken on iconic status–like our Super T Stitch, distinctive hardware, and horseshoe logo. We’re honored to see these elements incorporated into Supreme’s collection.”
True Religion, which turned 20 this year, has been on a collaboration kick of late. In November it released a capsule designed by the singer Dreezy and its creative director, Zihaad Wells, has previously created product mashups with rappers 2 Chainz and Chief Keef.
A truly cult streetwear brand, 28-year-old Supreme is famous for its collaborations and product drops that are quickly scooped up by its avid fans and collectors. In 2022 alone it has teamed with Nike, Yohji Yamamoto, The North Face and Burberry and pieces from its legendary 2014 collaboration with Louis Vuitton continue to fetch thousands of dollars on the resale market.
The new Supreme x True Religion collection will available exclusively at Supreme stores and supremenewyork.com on Dec. 1 in the U.S. and on Dec. 3 in Japan.
