Adidas Originals partnered with the Chicago-based tannery, Horween Leather Company, to produce a pack of premium Stan Smith sneakers.

Horween, renowned for its handmade leathers and vegetable tanning techniques since 1905, put its stamp on the iconic sneaker with its premium Essex leather. The shoes feature a deconstructed single piece leather upper with over cast stitching heel detail and are accented with gold foil Adidas Originals logo on both the tongue and heel.

The capsule collection includes two styles, the PC and Mid PC, retailing for $150 and $160 respectively. The shoes will available at Adidas Originals’ retail partners and online beginning Oct. 9.
